Moments of serenity

I seem to have fallen back into a meditation habit, thanks to a kick-start by Melissa Toland, who you’ll meet if you can make it to Summer School this year.

I attended a group mediation session a couple of weeks ago and since then, without putting it on a list of things to do, or adding it to my calendar, I have created 10 minutes in my day for my mediation practice.

It simply makes sense to me to do it. It doesn’t require any effort other than to go sit somewhere, grab my headphones and fire up the Calm app.

There’s no decision I have to make to do it; I’m just doing it. I think that’s really interesting. I’m curious about why and how this habit has slipped back into my life with ease.

I wonder what else might be just as effortless?

What is effortless for you? What simply makes sense so it happens without thought getting in the way?

Wishing you a week peppered with moments of serenity.
