Over the past couple of days I have been thinking about the power of words, their origins, their purpose and the meaning we make from the words we’re offered every day.
And then this beautiful film about the communities in the Klamath Basin, Oregon landed in my mailbox from the film maker Nic Askew…

I hope you have a few minutes to watch and listen. The question of ‘how are we going to be with one another,’ is a ‘timeless thing,’ and the answer lies in impossible conversations.
What do you think?

Wow so simple yet so powerful and impactful. Thank you for sharing @bev-holden-exploring
I watched this the other day when you first posted it and couldn’t quite find the words I wanted to share in response. Still can’t in all honesty, other than how very important I think the conversations that matter are. I facilitated a workshop for a local charity a few months ago on the magic of conversation. Participants were a mix of volunteers and clients of the charity (over 60, living alone). The impact of having meaningful conversations beyond the bus stop hello (though those are important too) is profound. Conversations are the elixir of life. Now, I’m rambling 😜
An eloquent ramble Wendy 🙏🏻
