What’s your theme tune?

For a little fun on a Sunday….

I have been nominated for an Enterprise Vision Award (thank you to the amazing Jane Cole for doing that 🥰) & over the past few days I’ve been drafting my entry, squeezing as much as I can about why I’m worthy into about 800 words 😲

Anyway, I also have to choose 3 pieces of music that, if I am fortunate enough to win, one of them will be played as I walk from my table to the stage. Do you know how hard it is to choose a theme tune? Well let me invite you to find out…..

Imagine yourself in the future, in about 4 months time, dressed in your best sequined frock or most outrageous dickie bow, and the person at the podium calls out your name.

And the winner is….it’s YOU!

After exchanging shocked and surprised glances with your tablemates, you graciously accept their congratulations. Do the hugging and the kissing stuff. Then you let out a big breath, adjust your outfit, and begin your approach to the stage.

You need a tune that captures your essence, something recognisable but a bit quirky.

It has to say something about you, it can’t be too cheesy though.

It must NOT have any ‘explicit’ lyrics (that’s trickier than you might think)

AND it’s got to have a beat that means you walk to the stage at an appropriate speed, with just enough sass and dignity, and not look like a heavy weight boxing champion, skipping and shadow boxing your way to the front.
